Kevin Laughton

Hi, my name is Kevin Laughton. I’m a professional tattoo artist at Tattoo Icons Art Gallery in Perryville Maryland. I’m sponsored by Inkenvyapparel.

I’ve been tattooing for a total of 8 years. and had prior experience at Off the Root Tattoo in North East, Maryland, and also Tattoo Art Studio and Boutique in Edgewood, Maryland. I love all types of tattooing, but if I had to pick a favorite I would choose anything that revolves around black and grey realism, evil stuff, and pretty flowers. I have always been an artist whether it was from making leaf art as a kid, to do a lot of graffiti the older that I got.

My passion for tattooing started in 2012 in a rehabilitation facility. I did a traditional apprenticeship in 2013 and have battled with addiction since I was 13 years old and after losing my brother in 2015, I had finally had enough of the lifestyle and found recovery.

I just celebrated 4 years of sobriety in December 2019 and absolutely love tattooing. As I say everyday, I’m humbled and grateful to just be alive and too blessed to be stressed. Much less have the opportunity on the daily to become better and be the best father, artist, and human being that I can be.
